Network members had the opportunity to discuss the application potential of machine vision under practical conditions last Wednesday (19 June 2024).
The participants were able to gain a first impression of THT and SMD production and the working conditions on site during a tour of the TURCK company at the Halver production site. The ultra-modern, partially fully automated production lines for the manufacturing of printed circuit boards for sensors, PLCs and IO systems were impressive. Together with the production managers, the participants had the opportunity to talk openly in a pleasant atmosphere about possible process-optimization measures using machine vision applications and further solution approaches.
The meeting was considered a complete success by all participants, the stimulating discussions combined with the warm hospitality made the day a special experience. We would like to thank Mr. Kriegel and the TURCK company for making this exciting event possible.
